1. docHub To reduce PDF file size in docHub, open the file in Acrobat, select Tools, and click on PDF Optimiser from the drop-down menu. A toolbar with a few options will appear just above the PDF; select the Reduce File Size option here.
you can open it by selecting the View Tools Print Production menu. In the Output Preview dialog, select Object Inspector from the Preview dropdown, then move and click the cross-hair pointer on top of any image within the file. All the image information will appear in Output Preview display.
On your copier/scanner/printer Before scanning your document, go to the home screen on the copy machine. Click on Advanced Settings. Click on Resolution. Change the dpi to a lower number like 200 dpi.
Open the file in Acrobat and from the FilePropertiesInitial View choose a zoom level (Magnification) that suits you. Then save the file.
The option to set custom margins can be found in the same place as the standard ones. Open the Edit Tab. Choose Margin. Pick Page Margin Setup.
How to modify the PDF page size/DPI: Open your original PDF file in docHub Professional 6.0 or above. Choose File Print. Choose docHub PDF in the Printer Name box: Click on Advanced: Click on Advanced and then select the preferred DPI, and then click on OK+
Open Acrobat Reader, navigate to Edit menu - Preferences - Page Display - set your required Zoom percentage. Click OK to confirm the change.
Tip: (Acrobat only, not docHub Reader) You can set up a PDF to default to specific scaling or print options. Choose File Properties, and click the Advanced tab. Select options for the Print Dialog Presets. The Default option in the Page Scaling pop-up menu is Shrink To Printable Area.
Follow the steps below to create a high-resolution PDF from your existing PDF using Acrobat. Open the PDF in Acrobat and go to File Save as Other Press-Ready PDF (PDF/ X) In the Save As PDF dialog box, click on Settings. In the Preflight dialog, select Save as PDF/X-4 and Click OK. Note:
This means that the document creator may have tset that. You can only provide a default for when that zoom level is not set. To do that, go to Preferences, then select Page Display - there you will find a zoom level at the top of the dialog. Again, if the document has a different level set, that will be used.
