It has to do when someone scheduling a meeting and someone hits record. Where is that recording and who can have access to it? Lets dive into this. Im right into Microsoft Teams. Im going to go to my Calendar. So there are two tests that I ran to find out where recordings are stored. I know where theyre stored because Ive read the help files on Microsoft, but actually I want to walk you through this and show you how to get there. So Im in my Microsoft Teams account, my profile image is in the top right-hand corner. Carol Wilson, who is a coworker, scheduled two meetings back to back this morning, Morning Test one and Morning Test two. Any Teams meeting or call can be recorded for future viewing. The recording captures audio, video, and screen sharing activity, and you can share it securely across your organization. A recording will expire and be automatically deleted after a set period of time.
You need to access his OneDrive to retrieve the recording because Teams meeting are saved in users OneDrive. You can contact your SharePoint or Global Admin to help with that.
During the meeting: From the meeting controls, click or tap the Participants icon. The Participants panel opens. Click or tap the Copy Join Info link icon. Meeting details, including the join link, are copied to your devices clipboard. Paste the meeting details into a message to the recipient.
Teams must be set up by a companys IT department which means you cant record as a guest. Meeting organizers can stop and start recordings. However, if you have an Office E1, E3, E5, and 365 Enterprise license you can also stop and start recordings if you are not the organizer of the Teams meeting.
Teams meeting recordings will be stored in OneDrive or SharePoint, depending on the type of meeting. Note that a recording will expire and be automatically deleted after a set period of time.
Re: How to Add Teams Link to Calender Open the organisers calendar in Outlook. Copy the join link/instructions. Paste it in your own booking.
You can save a meeting as a draft on your calendar if you arent ready to send the meeting invites.
