Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can take a Microsoft Word document and convert that into a PDF. Its really easier than you can imagine, and before we jump into it, as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. All right, well lets jump into it. Here I am on my desktop and what Im going to do is Im going to open up Microsoft Word. So here I am in Word, and I have a just kind of a quick Word document that I pulled together. Its a resume. The picture doesnt match me, but it has my name on the resume, so thats a little awkward, but whatever. So, heres my name and I put down my title, so I said You Tube superstar and maybe not quite but maybe someday Ill get there. And so, this is my Word document. Its just a traditional Word document. I can make any type of modifications in here, so just the standard document, and what I want to do is I want to take this Word document and I want to convert that into a PDF.

In Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for versions 2010 and later, theres no need to enable a Save as PDF option. The functionality is built-in. You can simply use the Save As menu and select PDF from the Save as type dropdown to convert your documents to the PDF format.
New Outlook doesnt include PDF as one of the defaults Save as types. The Microsoft Print To PDF utility included in Windows 10 and Windows 11 allows you to print any email message directly to a PDF. Open the message you want to save as a PDF. In the message, select More actions Print Print.
Open the file you want to save as a PDF. Tap File on your Android, then select Print. Select the dropdown menu and tap Save as PDF. Pick your preferred location for your PDF and press Save.
Open your Outlook inbox and locate the email. Click More actions, the three horizontal dots to the right. Click Print, and on the next dialog box, click Print again. In the pop-up, under Destination, choose Save as PDF.
You cant save a Word document as a PDF because the app cannot find your files contents. A quick fix is to open the Word document and select File Share Send PDF, as your Mail app and you will be able to share a PDF attachment of the file.
