How to create meeting template in Outlook Set up a new meeting like you normally do. In the body, enter your template text with appropriate placeholders. Save the newly created meeting as template. For this, click File Save as, type some descriptive name, and choose to save as Outlook Template (*.
To copy a meeting, select the meeting, hold the CTRL button on your keyboard and drag the meeting to a new spot. Once in the new spot, release both your mouse button and the CTRL-key. A duplicate meeting appears in that new spot and the existing meeting is preserved for historical purposes.
You create a regular meeting invitation and save it as a template. Click FILE, Save As, click the down arrow next to Save as type, and click Outlook Template. It is important that you dont change where the template is saved. Give the template a name and click Save.
Add an event Click Add event. Give your event a name at the top of the page. Choose date and times in the When section. In the Where section, enter a location or address. In the Link section, you can enter an online meeting link if you have one.
