RAYMOND: Hi, Im Raymond. And today Im going to show you where you can save files on your Chromebook and how to manage them. First, Im going to explain where you can store your files. You have two options here. You can store them in the cloud or you can store them locally. Your Chromebook can save documents, PDFs, images, and a variety of other media in these two places. To save your files locally, use the Downloads folder on your Chromebook hard drive or an external storage device, like a USB drive. But keep in mind that the Downloads folder is meant for temporary storage. Now, lets walk through how to save and manage files on your Chromebook. To save a file from the web, two-finger click and choose Save As. This gives you the option to save the file to the Downloads folder or in your Google Drive. Now, you can use the Files app to access and manage your files. To open the files app from your desktop, click the Launcher, and then the Files app icon. On the left side of the screen,

When you open a new sheet, it is usually not named. So, you can go to the text box at the top left of a sheet, where you can see the words Untitled spreadsheet. Then, when you click the text box, it becomes editable. You can type in a file name there.
Click on the more button (3 vertical dots on the right side of Chrome) and select settings. Type in autofill in the search section at the top and it will bring up all of the autofill options available by default in Chrome.
Your Autofill data is stored in Google Cloud. If you save credit card details on your computer, this data will also be available on your synchronized devices, like your smartphone and tablet. Deleting browsing history, sign-in data, and passwords will wipe that information from all your devices.
Naming a New, Untitled Document: 1. Click UNTITLED DOCUMENT title in top left corner to rename your file. 2. Name your document and Click OK.
