What is a modeling contract?

Modeling agency contracts are signed agreements between a model and the agency representing their interests. It lays out the rights and obligations for both parties under the contract. It is always a good idea to get legal advice prior to signing a model contract.

How do you write a modeling contract?

What should a modeling agreement include? A model long agreement should typically establish both parties and their relationships. From there, it should discuss exclusivity rights, agency compensation, agreement terms, prosperity, independent contractor clause, and all other terms and conditions.

Can you cancel a modeling contract?

Many contracts require models to give at least 30 days notice (sometimes longer) in order to terminate the agreement, and some have loopholes that allow you to get out of it if the agency hasnt fulfilled specific duties (like booking you a certain amount of work, for example).
