After installing and activating Office, Outlook keeps asking to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). This is caused by Windows security and permissions. Your Windows user account doesnt have the necessary permissions to write the activation to the registry.
This can happen if you dont uninstall the pre-installed version of Office on your new PC before installing a volume license version of Office. To stop the prompts for activation, make sure your Office uses volume licensing and then update the registry.
Step 1: open the Office program. On a laptop with free Office for 1 year, programs like Word and Excel are pre-installed. Step 2: choose an account. An activation screen will appear. Step 3: log in to Microsoft 365. Step 4: accept the conditions. Step 5: get started.
RIGHT Click on any of the Office applications (Winword, Outlook, Excel) Click Run as Administrator. The program will start and ask you to agree to the EULA (agreement) again and click I agree or Yes. Close the program.
Start an Office program, such as Word or Excel. The End User License Agreement dialog box appears. Click Start, scroll to the list of all programs, then click on Microsoft Office, right-click an Office program, click Run as administrator, and then click Continue. Click I Accept.
All you need to do is deactivate your Office 365 subscription from your first computer, it on your new system, and activate the subscription there. Deactivate the Subscription on Your Old Computer/Laptop. MS Office on the New Computer/Laptop. Authenticate the Office 365/2016 Subscription.
7 Ways to Fix the Theres a Problem With Your Office License Error on Windows Sign Out and Sign In Again on Your MS Office Apps. Repair, Reset, or Re- the MS Office Tool. Update Your Microsoft Office Products. Sign In to Your Device Using a Different Microsoft Account. Scan Your Windows Device.
Stop Office from Always Requesting Activation by Uninstalling Reinstalling OFFICE. The last method to stop Office from constantly asking you to activate it, is to remove reinstall Office by using the Office Uninstall Tool.
