Start an Office program, such as Word or Excel. The End User License Agreement dialog box appears. Click Start, scroll to the list of all programs, then click on Microsoft Office, right-click an Office program, click Run as administrator, and then click Continue. Click I Accept.
Click Settings, and then under My app settings, choose Office 365. On the My account page, choose Subscriptions. Youll see the services that youre licensed to use, such as the latest desktop version of Microsoft 365, SharePoint in Microsoft 365 or OneDrive for work or school, and Exchange Online.
RIGHT Click on any of the Office applications (Winword, Outlook, Excel) Click Run as Administrator. The program will start and ask you to agree to the EULA (agreement) again and click I agree or Yes. Close the program.
After you sign in, select your name in the upper right-hand corner, and then select Order History. Locate the Microsoft 365 one-time purchase or individual Microsoft 365 app, and then select Microsoft 365 to view your product key (this doesnt actually Microsoft 365).
Microsoft 365, Office 2021, Office 2019, Office 2016, and Office 2013 (PC and Mac) To redeem a new purchase. Step 1: Go to .office.com/setup or Microsoft365.com/setup. Step 2: Sign in with your Microsoft account, or create one if you dont have one. Step 3: Enter your product key, without hyphens, if prompted.
Assign licenses to devices In the Microsoft 365 admin center, go to the Billing Licenses page. On the Licenses page, choose Microsoft 365 Apps for Education (device) or Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise (device). On the next page, choose a subscription, then choose Assign licenses.
In the admin center, go to the Billing Your products page. On the Products tab, select the subscription to which you want to add licenses. On the subscription details page, in the Licenses section, select Add more licenses. In the Add more licenses pane, select Use a new and unused product key, then select Next.
This behavior occurs if your user account does not have permissions to modify the Microsoft Windows Registry.
On the device where you want to change the key, open any Office app, select the File menu and then select Account near the bottom of the menu. Under Product Information, select the Change License button.
After installing and activating Office, Outlook keeps asking to accept the End User License Agreement (EULA). This is caused by Windows security and permissions. Your Windows user account doesnt have the necessary permissions to write the activation to the registry.
