Contact us
A contact label can be private or shared with other users. A contact label can be created and managed in Google contacts, in your phone address book, in Gmail, Google Drive, and so on, whereas a Google Group can be managed only by a Google domain administrator from the Google Workspace admin console.
You can organize the people and businesses in Contacts using labels. You can use the Contacts app to find someones contact info or organize contacts with labels like friends or family.
Create a group Go to Google Contacts. On the left next to Labels, click Create label . Type a name, then click Save.
Labels can help you sort your emails into different categories, such as work, personal, projects, or newsletters. You can create as many labels as you want, and customize their colors and names. You can also nest labels under other labels, creating a hierarchy of subfolders.
Groups such as project teams, departments, or classmates can communicate and collaborate using Google Groups. If you want to invite a group to an event, or share documents with a group, you can send a single email to everyone in the group.
Create a group On your Android phone or tablet, open the Contacts app . At the top, tap Label. New label. Enter a label name. Tap OK. Add one contact to a label: Tap Add contact . Select a contact. Add multiple contacts to a label: Tap Add contact . Touch and hold a contact. Tap other contacts you want to add. Add.
Add or remove contacts from a group Go to Google Contacts. Select one of the following: A single contact: Tick the box next to the contact name. Multiple contacts: Tick the boxes next to all the contacts that you want to add. At the top, click Manage labels . Click the group label that you want. Click Apply.
