When you download a file in Microsoft Edge, a pop-up window asks if you want to save it or cancel the download. By default, Microsoft Edge saves downloads to your computers Downloads folder.
Check your Edge Autofill settings. Make sure the Offer to Save Passwords toggle is turned on. If it isnt, you wont be able to save new passwords. Reset the browser.
1. Check your Edge settings: Open Edge and go to Settings (you can find this in the three-dot menu at the top right corner). Select Profiles from the sidebar, then Passwords. Make sure both Offer to save passwords and Sign in automatically are turned on.
Go to passwords.google.com. In the top right, select Settings . From here you can manage your settings. Offer to save passwords: Manage offers to save passwords in Android and Chrome. Manage offers to passwords for specific sites or apps: You can choose to never save passwords for specific sites.
Select Settings and more Settings . Select Profiles Passwords Settings . Under Passwords, set Offer to save passwords to On or Off as desired.
To find your saved passwords on Edge, follow these steps: Click the three dots at the top right corner of Edge and select Settings. Select the Profiles section and click Passwords. You will see a section that lists your passwords.
You can also save how you filled out your name, address, and other info in web forms, which makes filling similar forms in the future quicker and easier. Select Settings and more Settings Profiles Addresses and more. Turn on Save and fill addresses.
