How to download attachments from an email Open your email. Go to your email client to access your email with the attachment. Download the attached file. Click on the thumbnail icon for the attached file. Select a storage location. Open your mail. Select the attachment. Save the attachment.
Attachments wont open or download On your computer, check that youre using a supported browser. Try turning off extensions you have on your browser one at a time. Clear your browsers cache and cookies.
Google Gmail Log in to your Gmail account and open the message containing the attachment(s) you want to download. Any attachments are shown in the bottom-left corner of the message body (A). To download the attachment(s), move your mouse cursor over each of the attachments and click the download arrow that appears (B).
On your computer, go to Gmail. Open an email message. Hover your mouse over the thumbnail, then click Download .
You can also right-click the attachment, and then click Save As. To select multiple attachments, hold down the Ctrl key while clicking the attachments. To save all attachments, choose Save All Attachments.
