Choose File Export Save Project as File, and under Other File Types, double-click Microsoft Excel Workbook.
From the Excel Options dialog box select Advanced from the categories on the left. Scroll to the bottom of the Advanced screen and click the Edit Custom Lists button in the middle of the screen. Select your custom list from the ones displayed. Your list entries will appear on the right side of the screen.
Exporting your Fixed Asset Manager (FAM) client to Excel Open the client file. Go to the File menu. Select Export Client. Select Excel Spreadsheet. Youll see a message stating, Export to Excel complete. Would you like to bring Excel to the foreground? Select Yes. Go to File and select Save.
The fixed assets register will be maintained on an excel spreadsheet or a book and should have the following details: Identification or serial number. Acquisition date. Description of asset. Location. Class of asset. Cost of acquisition. Accumulated depreciation. Net book value.
On the External Data tab, in the Export group, click Excel. In the Export - Excel Spreadsheet dialog box, review the suggested file name for the Excel workbook (Access uses the name of the source object). If you want, you can modify the file name. In the File Format box, select the file format that you want.
MS Excel can be used for storing inventory information. But it cannot automatically track assets or collect asset information; users will have to collect the data and enter it manually into the sheets.
