Gary from macmost.com explains how to control where files are downloaded on your Mac. By default, files are downloaded to the Downloads folder, but you can customize the destination. You can also control the download location on a case-by-case basis. In Safari, you can change the download location in the settings under General. This allows you to easily find downloaded files and manage them more efficiently.
