Copy a URL (address) on a desktop or laptop After the address is highlighted, press Ctrl + C (Windows) or Command + C (macOS) on the keyboard to copy it. Once the address is copied, paste that address into another program by clicking a blank field and pressing Ctrl + V (Windows) or Command + V (macOS).
Copying URL on Safari for Mac Navigate to the web page you want to copy the URL. Click on the address bar to highlight the URL. Right-click on the highlighted URL and select Copy. Alternatively, you can use the keyboard shortcut Command + C.
