Select the border of the text box that you want to delete, and then press DELETE. Make sure that the pointer is on the border of the text box and not inside the text box. If the pointer is not on the border, pressing DELETE will delete the text inside the text box.

Turn off text predictions On the status bar, choose Text Predictions: On. Switch off Suggest words or phrases as I type.
If youre using Microsoft Word, heres how to turn it on. First, open Word and go to File Options. In the Options window, select Proofing, then check the Autocorrect box. Hit OK. When you type now, some words will appear in a pop-up. Just click one or press Enter to insert it into your document.
At the top of the page, select Settings Mail Compose and reply. Under Text predictions, clear the Suggest words or phrases as I type check box.
Deleting an in-text citation Click on the relevant citation. Its background turns grey to show it is selected. Click the EndNote tab ► Edit Manage Citation(s). A new window will pop up. Ensure the correct citation is highlighted. Click the arrow beside the Edit Reference button, choose Remove Citation, then click OK.
