this is my first attempt at making a stamp for my wifeamp;#39;s business I printed a picture of her logo on to the glossy side of some paper that I had and then just rubbed it onto the piece of speed ball rubber I purchased it actually transferred pretty well and so Iamp;#39;m going to try to cut out all of the parts that havenamp;#39;t been inked by the print the lettering at the bottom of the logo is extremely thin and delicate and it was just too hard to actually get it looking good with these tools probably needs to be laser etched for this level of detail so it didnamp;#39;t come out entirely perfect but I think it came out pretty good for my first attempt what do you think I did wrong and what do you think I could do better and thanks for liking and subscribing bye

Since this writing Ive learned that a little glue stick on a balky postage stamp is just fine. Affix your stamps securely, the post office advises, but do not put tape over the stamp(s) this invalidates the postage.
To get ink off of your stamps, you can soak them in hot soapy water and use a cleaning cloth or old toothbrush to scrub the ink off the rubber.
Attach the stamp to the envelope. If you are using sticker stamps, peel the paper off the back of the stamp. If you are using lickable stamps, lick the back of the stamp. Put the stamp on the top right corner of the envelope. This will allow the postage scanning equipment to read the envelope and process it.

No. Although you can glue unused postage stamps onto an envelope, any method of adhesion must allow a cancellation device to come into contact with the stamp. Tape or plastic coverings on the stamp will prevent this, so theyre prohibited.

Glue. Never put tape over a stamp - it prevents the scanners reading the stamp, so it gets rejected and returned because the postage has not been paid. It also means the machines cannot tell if the stamp is being reused illegally, so they will be suspicious.
It is not okay to cover a stamp with tape as it prevents your postal system from cancelling the stamp. If your stamp is not sticking to an envelope, you may glue it on, or tape it just on the edges.
