up guys Matt doing some winter scouting I just came across this signpost rub as you can see behind me this thing was worked by Buckamp;#39;s last fall you can see the lighter colored bark at the bottom but as you come up the tree youamp;#39;ll see some scarring where bucks are perennially rubbing on this tree thatamp;#39;s why we call it a signpost rub is because the Bucks use this thing year after year we find a lot of rubs in the woods maybe on a stand of Oaks and while those are nice to find it may not indicate that bucks are using that spot year in and year out if itamp;#39;s a good Acorn year they may be in there but then the next two or three years they may not use that part of the landscape partly at all but when we find sign like this that tells us that bucks are in here consistently this is a thick grassy bedding area that they can use at different times of the year for different food sources as they come out this way you get into more AG food sources thereamp;#39;s some
