hello everyone how are you doing this is mdtech here with another quick tutorial in todayamp;#39;s tutorial iamp;#39;ll mention how to set your default paper size to a4 in microsoft word so this will hopefully be a pretty straightforward process here guys and without further ado letamp;#39;s go ahead and jump right into it so all you have to do is slot the layout tab up at the top and you want to go versus page setup click the little arrow to expand the selection to open up additional options down here letamp;#39;s go ahead and left click on that for the paper size click on the drop down and select a4 and where it says set as default go ahead and select that do you want to change the default settings for the page setup this change will affect new documents based on the normal template select yes and there you go guys simple as that so as always thank you guys for watching this brief tutorial dubai is able to help you out and i do look forward to catching you all in the next

To resize a picture, on the Picture Tools Format tab, in the Size group, enter the new measurements into the Height and Width boxes. To resize a shape or other object, on the Drawing Tools Format tab, in the Size group, enter the measurements you want into the Height and Width boxes.
Select the picture, shape, WordArt, or other object to resize. To resize multiple objects at the same time, press and hold Shift while selecting each object. Select Shape Format, Picture Tools Format, or Drawing Tools Format and enter the new measurements into Height and Width.
Change margins in your document to change the layout and make sure everything fits. Select Layout Margins. Select the margin measurements you want. Note: If your document contains multiple sections, the new margins apply only to the selected sections.
Resize a picture, shape, text box, or other object Select the object. Hold down CTRL. Move the mouse pointer over one of the handles and then click and drag the mouse. Release the mouse button before you release CTRL.
Click the line, connector, or shape that you want to delete, and then press Delete. Tip: If you want to delete multiple lines or connectors, select the first line, press and hold Ctrl while you select the other lines, and then press Delete.
Click the picture, shape, text box, or WordArt that you want to resize. To keep the center of an object in the same place, press and hold CTRL while you drag the sizing handle. To maintain the objects proportions, press and hold SHIFT while you drag the sizing handle. SHIFT while you drag the sizing handle.
In the Word document, select the object you want to resize. Use the mouse or touchpad to select and drag a Sizing handle. The Sizing handles are located on each corner of the object, as well as on the top, bottom, left, and right borders. Once youve resized the object, you may also need to reposition it.
If youre not able to change the height and width independently, youll need to unlock the aspect ratio: Click the dialog box launcher in the bottom right corner of the Size group. In the format pane or dialog box that appears, clear the Lock aspect ratio check box.
