Hi everyone, my name is Kevin. Today I want to show you how you can set up a signature in Outlook on both the desktop and on the web, and before we jump into it, as full disclosure, I work at Microsoft as a full-time employee. Why donamp;#39;t we jump into it, that way you could start looking very professional with nice signatures in your emails. Letamp;#39;s jump into it. All right, well here I am on my desktop and what weamp;#39;re going to do first is I want to show you how to do it using Outlook desktop. I have Outlook here on my taskbar. Iamp;#39;m going to go ahead and click on this. This is the latest version of Outlook, itamp;#39;s part of Office 365. Itamp;#39;ll probably work if you have an older version of Outlook as well, but I canamp;#39;t promise anything, but signatures havenamp;#39;t changed that much. Itamp;#39;s been a feature in Outlook for a very long time, so if you follow along, it should work for you regardless of what version

You should use a felt-tip pen, like a fine point Sharpie because the ink in a regular ballpoint pen will not stick to the cards plastic surface. To avoid smearing your signature and getting ink all over the card and your hands, let the signature dry for a couple of minutes before putting it in your wallet.

Let the ink dry. Dont put the credit card away immediately after you sign the back. If you put the card away too soon, the ink may smear and your signature will become unintelligible. Depending on the ink you use, the signature may take up to 30 minutes to dry.
Use acetone (finger nail polish) very carefully where your name is signed to try to remove as much ink as possible and then resign it. (Dont get the acetone on the magnetic strip.) If that doesnt work, try using olive oil. What should I do if I lost my credit card a long time ago?

On the outside or on the inside of your card. Just stamp it again on a scrap piece of paper.

Get the card sudsy with soap and water. Use a non-abrasive soap and give it a gentle rub for about 20 seconds. Dont use too much force, or you may cause premature wear of the card.
Too much moisture will cause the signature to shrink and smear. Choose where you display your autographed clothing carefully; avoid basements and garages as these tend to be more humid. An air-conditioned or otherwise temperature controlled room is best for keeping signatures vivid and viewable longer.
