Use olive oil to remove scratches. To remove scratches from leather using olive oil, clean the area around the scratch with a damp cloth. Then, pour a small amount of olive oil onto a soft cloth and rub it into the scratch until it is gone. Finally, buff the area with another soft cloth to remove excess oil.

Repairing Serious Surface Scuffs Leather Glue: Apply a small amount of leather glue to the scuffed area and press it down gently. Recoloring Marker: Use a recoloring marker that is similar to your leathers color to cover up the scuff. Leather Cream: Finish the item with a leather cream, to moisturize and protect it.
Allow your leather footwear to dry for at least 10 minutes, so the polish can absorb before beginning the buffing process. To buff, use a natural bristle brush, such as horsehair, and move in quick movements going from side to side.
Use a soft cloth to clean the area using the leather cleaning product. Next softly dab the scratched area with distilled white vinegar and once it is dry, use some colourless shoe polish on the affected area until it seems to be blended properly.
Place a few drops of mild dish soap in to a small bowl of warm water and gently stir. Dip in your soft cloth or sponge, and wring out before gently scrubbing the mark, making sure not to saturate the area, and finish by wiping dry with a soft, clean cloth.
Apply some shoe polish on the shoes, then buff them with a brush or soft cloth. It might take a few coats to bring them back to 100 percent. One way to prevent scuffs and scratches, or at least make them easier to get out, is by polishing leather shoes on the regular.
Polish surface scuffs away with petroleum jelly. Rub petroleum jelly into the scuffed surface using circular motions, then leave it for 10 minutes. Use a clean part of the cloth to wipe away excess jelly after 10 minutes.
