letamp;#39;s now look at how sound is represented in binary and we kept those before but first talk about the difference between analog and digital data so analog signals waves data will ever constantly changing and without defined ranges so basically their naturally occurring signals like sound like just light pressure and so on and they often represent by waves because theyamp;#39;re continuous and we canamp;#39;t deal with analog signals we have to deal with digital data so this is where data forms discrete values so they always fall within define ranges and that set values within these ranges so we need to basically because the computers going to deal with digital data mean to convert from analog is usually one input and an output is so there needs to be some conversion in this process so in terms of how we do is for sound mister generally done by taking a sample of the amplitude or height of a sound wave a regular time intervals and when we assign a binary value to each reading

In general, executable -- or ready-to-run -- programs are identified as binary files and given a filename extension such as . bin or .exe.
ELF (Executable and Linkable Format) is a binary format created for the UNIX operating system, but it is also used in many UNIX clones, including Linux. A. OUT format is also a binary format created for UNIX but also used in various UNIX clones.
Making the object file: the compiler It does this by turning the C source code into an object code file, which is a file ending in .o which contains the binary version of the source code. Object code is not directly executable, though.
out is a file format used in older versions of Unix-like computer operating systems for executables, object code, and, in later systems, shared libraries.
By convention the .o extension is for object files and executable files should have no extension (even though the default name is a. out , which has the . out extension, that extension is not commonly used).
For binary files, offset is the number of bytes to offset. For text files, offset must be zero or a value returned by ftell(). The value of base must be 0 to indicate the beginning of the file, 1 for the current position, or 2 for the end of file.
To update data in a binary file, we can use methods like write() or writelines(), just like in text files. However, we need to open the file in read and write mode (rb+ or wb+) instead of read mode (rb) or write mode (wb).
There is no standard for offset binary, but most often the K for an n-bit binary word is K = 2n1 (for example, the offset for a four-digit binary number would be 23=8).
