What is the reversed out QR code?

When the background is darker than the QR Codes foreground, its called an inverted Code. These types of Codes typically have a dark background such as black, navy or dark grey. While a few scanners can read an inverted Code, some apps are not able to scan them.

Can QR Codes become inactive?

Your QR Codes may be inactive for two different reasons: Your free trial ended and your Dynamic QR Codes have been deactivated. You previously paused one or more of your QR Codes.

Is there a way to deactivate a QR code?

Deactivating a QR Code is a feature of Dynamic QR Codes. It is not possible to deactivate a Static QR Code as it stores the data in the QR Code itself.

What happens if you scan a bad QR code?

Scanning a fraudulent QR Code can lead to a malware being automatically downloaded to your mobile device through which hackers can access your personal information. Scammers also send phishing emails which again involve giving away credit card numbers or such information.

Can you unlink a QR Code?

You can delete a QR Code if you no longer wish to use it. Doing this will remove the QR Code from the Active list. If you delete a QR Code and a user scans it, they will see an error. Deleted codes are placed in Trash and you can easily restore them from here.

Can you change the URL of a QR code?

Yes, as long as the original QR Code is Dynamic. You can update all aspects of Dynamic QR Codes, including the short URL, any content on your landing page or even the type of QR Code used, which is basically the same as redirecting the QR Code to a new function.

Can a QR Code be deactivated?

Deactivating a QR Code temporarily Pausing allows you to temporarily deactivate the QR Code while deleting results in permanent deactivation.

How do you cancel a QR Code?

In order to delete a QR code first you have to archive it. Confirm by clicking Yes. After that head to the Archived QR codes section on the left sidebar. You will find a button to permanently delete the QR code.
