There are a couple of things you can do to prepare your workbook before you send it out. For example, you can finalize the file and even protect it to keep other people from making any more changes. Youamp;#39;ll find everything you need in the backstage view ,under Inspect workbook This feature will help you remove any personal information that may be hidden in the workbookamp;#39;s file data. It also checks for things that you generally donamp;#39;t want to include in the final draft, such as comments or annotations that you forgot to delete. Some of the changes from the inspector canamp;#39;t be undone, so itamp;#39;s a good idea to save an extra copy of your file before you do this. When youamp;#39;re ready, go ahead and click Check for issues, choose Inspect document from the menu, then click Inspect in the dialog box. Word examines the document, and then displays the results in a list. The second item in the list is Document Properties and Personal Information. To the right of Document Properties and Personal Information is a button labeled Remove All. Click that button. Next click Close then save your document.
Anyway, heres how you fix it: Goto File in the upper left hand corner. Options Trust Center Trust Center Settings Privacy Options Un-check the check box that says Remove personal information from file properties on save Hit OK.
File a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. Place a fraud alert with one of the three national credit reporting bureaus. This will let any company that checks your credit know your information was stolen, and they should contact you by phone before authorizing new credit.
Anyway, heres how you fix it: Goto File in the upper left hand corner, then Options Trust Center Trust Center Settings Privacy Options then un-check the check box that says Remove personal information from file properties on save, then hit OK. Hope that helps.
If you share a document with other people, you can remove personal information, such as author name and company, that Office automatically adds to a document. On the Word menu, click Preferences. Under Privacy options, select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box. Save the document.
Click on Inspect down in the bottom right corner. It will return the results, and the one you are concerned with is Document Properties and Personal Information. If you want to get rid of it, click on Remove All. Click on Close.
I was pleasantly surprised with how well this works! It blocks out about 99% leaving only an occasional letter or number visible. Its fun to use each day when the mail comes in and I feel very official using it, haha. Ive had it about a month and the ink is still strong, but dont know how it would last long term.
Here are some things you can do about it. Utilize the security functions of websites, hardware, and apps. Uninstall unused apps from your smartphone, tablet, and computer. Delete old email addresses. Remove personal information from Google. Close old websites and unused accounts. Remove your data from data brokers.
