hey guys welcome back again hope you are doing well iamp;#39;m mj in this video iamp;#39;ll show you how to hide first page number in ms word so letamp;#39;s start i will try to make it simple and easy so here i have one document and i have a lot of pages here like one two three four five so i donamp;#39;t want to show the page number on the first page i want to show the page number from the second page so letamp;#39;s see how to do this the simple thing is uh just go to insert here and then click on page number okay and choose the page number where you want to put like top insert uh bottom so i will take the top in the center okay so here you can see the page number is up here you can uh choose your font size of config for easy view i will take the turn the font size and make it bold okay so here the page number is started but it is still appearing on the fifth page number one okay one two three so i want to just remove from the first page so for this after insert the page number

To start page number with page 1, do the following: With the header open, select page 3 on page 3. Click Page Number in the Header Footer group. Select Format Page Numbers. In the Page Numbering section of the resulting dialog, select the Start At option and enter 1, as shown in Figure G. Click OK.
Add page number X of Y to your document If youre not already in Editing view, click Edit Document Edit in Word for the web. Click Insert Page Numbers. Youll see a gallery of page number layout options. Check the Include Page Count box just above the gallery. Click the page number layout option you want.
If you dont want a page number to appear on the first page, select Different First Page. If you want numbering to start with 1 on the second page, go to Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at to 0.
How to remove page numbers from the first page only in Word Click Header. Select Edit Header. Open the Design tab. Check Different First Page from the Options group. Choose Close Header and Footer. Double-click on the header or footer containing the page number. Highlight and delete the page number.
