To remove a black outline in docHub Illustrator, select the object, go to the Stroke panel, and set the stroke color to None or choose the transparent swatch. Alternatively, use the Appearance panel to delete or modify the stroke. Adjusting stroke weight to 0 effectively removes the black outline.
You can easily erase in a straight line in Illustrator by pressing and holding the Shift Key before you start dragging with the eraser. Problem solved.
You need to lock the layer with the object that is causing the strokes of the eraser to appear. To do this; double click on that specific layer and in its opptions you can check off lock.
