Rubbing alcohol: Rubbing alcohol is a disinfectant, but it can also be used to remove Sharpie stains completely, as it helps to break down oils and other alcohols present in the Sharpie ink. Hairspray: Surprisingly, cheap hair sprays have a high alcohol content.
Eraser: A high-quality eraser can be effective for minor ink stains. Gently rub the ink stain with a clean eraser, being cautious not to tear or damage the paper. Remove any eraser residue. Baking Soda and Water Paste: Create a paste by mixing baking soda with a small amount of water.
When removing markup from screenshots, Snapseed offers a dedicated tool that allows you to easily erase unwanted annotations or drawings, restoring the original image to its pristine state.

Liquids should not be too thick or too rough, as they can damage the paper. I recommend removing nail polish with acetone as it is the safest option. But if that doesnt work for you, other options include hairspray, hand sanitizer, or distilled white vinegar. Lightly moisten a cotton swab with nail polish remover.
Rubbing alcohol or acetone (think nail polish remover) the secret weapon. Mild dish soap for a gentle, yet effective cleanse. Soft, lint-free cloths your trusty sidekicks.
Use Acetone Acetone works well in erasing ink from paper. Nail polish remover contains acetone and can remove ink from paper when applied in a small amount using a cotton swab. This is successful in removing regular ballpoint pen ink and works better on blue ink.
Using a clean towel, dab a bit of nail polish remover on the stain, remembering not to oversaturate the paper. With a dry towel, soak up the nail polish remover. Repeat until the stain is gone.
