The integrated cables mean you must replace the whole display. Unfortunately, fixing the stage light issue isnt as simple as swapping in a new display cable. Because of how these MacBooks are designed, youll need to replace the entire display assembly, which can be quite expensive.
If you want to stop your Mac automatically setting the screen brightness ing to ambient lighting conditions, heres how to do it: Click on the main Apple menu and choose System Settings. Select Displays. Turn off Automatically adjust Brightness. Quit System Settings.
Typically, to turn off the keyboards backlight, you would press and hold the Fn key and then press one of the brightness keys (usually an up or down arrow) while pressing a specific Function key (F2 or F5).
You can create a mixture by adding equal ratios of baking soda and water (1:1). Carefully apply some of the paste to the screen and use a microfiber cloth to scrub it in a circular motion. It should do the trick but make sure you dont leave any residue on the screen and remove it with another dry microfiber cloth.
On all Mac computers: Choose Apple menu System Settings, then click Keyboard in the sidebar. (You may need to scroll down.) On the right, drag the Keyboard brightness slider to adjust the brightness. Drag it all the way to the left to turn backlighting off.
The apple is just a semitransparent plastic that lets the screen backlight shine through it, its not independent. If the screen is on, the apple is lit. The screens backlight is lighting up the Apple logo. Theres no way you can turn it off other than to completely dim the screen to a point its off.
A green light beside the camera glows to indicate the camera is on. The camera (and the green light) turn off when you close or quit all apps that can use the camera. In Safari, to allow a website to use the camera, choose Safari Settings, click Websites, then select Camera.
Go to System Preferences Displays and make sure that the resolution and color profile are set correctly for your specific monitor. You can also try adjusting the brightness and contrast levels to see if that helps resolve the issue.
