To increase the size of your header on your current document and on all new documents, go to File Page setup and increase your top margin to whatever size you need. Press the blue Set as default button and then press the blue OK button to save your changes.
To use and see headers and footers, make sure your document is in pages format. Open a document in the Google Docs app. Tap Edit . In the top right, tap More . Turn on Print Layout. Tap the header or footer. Type the text you want in your header or footer.
To add a header image to your Google Form, click the paint palette icon in the top-right corner of the Google Forms editor. A sidebar will appear on the right side of the page. From here, you can change the theme and background colours or select Choose image to add your own form header.
Edit your existing headers and footers Double-click the header or footer you want to edit, or select Header or Footer, and then select Edit Header or Edit Footer. Add or change text for the header or footer or do any of the following: When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
Go to the page where you want to remove the header. Click on Format in the menu bar. Select Headers footers and then click on Remove header.
If you are using a Chrome browser: Open the document go to File Print. 2. In the pop-up that follows, click More Settings. Make sure that you uncheck the Headers and footers option.
Tip: Anyone that has edit, comment, or view access to a Google Doc can expand and collapse headings. On your computer, open a Google Doc thats in pageless mode. Hover over the heading you want to expand or collapse. To the left of the heading, click Expand heading or Collapse heading .
In a nutshell, youll need to separate each page with a Next-Page Section Break, not a Page Break, unlink each Section from the one previous, and then insert your different Header Footer content. You need to insert section breaks. Then you can insert different headers and footers.
