headers and Footers are a great way to include branded or common information on every page without impacting the formatting of your document you can insert a header or footer in two ways the first is by going to the insert tab of the ribbon then over on the right hand side select header or footer the second option is to double-click in the header and footer space which will open the editor without having to use the menu in the header and footer editor tab there are options to automatically add page numbers time and date document info such as file location and author and insert pictures you can also toggle between the header and footer easily and change the pages where the headers are shown and adjust the sizes to close the editor either double-click in the body space or hit close header and footer from the ribbon we have more videos on Microsoft Word on our channel so check out the playlist And subscribe for more
