hello itamp;#39;s the it guys and weamp;#39;re here today in Open Office right new tutorial today as promised weamp;#39;re going to be looking at headers and Footers so let us begin to insert a header where you need to go you go to insert at the top then click header default this will insert this header at the top of your page to insert a footer you need to go to insert footer default this will put the footer at the bottom of your page if you type something in the header for example the it gu then it will appear on every page so if I insert more pages itamp;#39;s now going to appear at the top of every page of my document the same goes for the footer in the footer or the header some times you might want to have your page number appear in the p fter to do this you go to insert fields and then you click on page number this is my first page this is Page showing as page one if you want it as page two and say page two page three and so on you might want to have a total count for

How do I edit headers footers in a LibreOffice document? Insert - Header and Footer - Header - [x] Default Style. Click into the header and start typing or inserting your desired content.
If you want to edit the footer contents, just move to the footer and edit it. No menu command needed. If you want to change the style of the footer, you can do that directly or you can edit the footer style in the Styles and Formatting dialog ( F11 ).

Problem: Youre unable to select and change the text in the footer at the bottom of your slides. Solution: If you cant directly edit footer text, its probably the case that the footer placeholder has been turned off in Slide Master view.

Click on the fourth icon (Page Styles) from the left in the toolbar. Right click on the current (highlighted) style, likely to be Default Style and choose Modify . Go to the Footer and header tabs to disable (uncheck) the footer and header.
To have different footers, put a section break -- Insert Break Section break (next page) -- at the end of each page. Remove all the footers and page numbers you have already entered. Start the process over by inserting the section breaks and also UN-check the box in the footer for link to previous.
