To save a flattened TIFF in Photoshop, first flatten your image by selecting Flatten Image from the Layers panel menu. Next, go to File Save As, and in the Save As dialog, choose TIFF as the file format. Select your desired compression and settings, and then click Save.
Turning off Antialiasing to Reduce TIFF Image Size Antialiasing adds extra pixels and information to create the effect of smoother lines, curves, and shapes. This adds more data to be stored, causing the file to be larger. You can turn this option off to see how much space you will save.
Open a raw image, TIFF or JPEG in Loupe view. Select Photo Enhance in the menu bar (or, Control-click on a Mac/right-click in Windows on the image and click on Enhance. Select Super Resolution from the Enhance box.

Tiff files are designed for high-quality publications, and therefore normally are saved at higher resolutions, usually 150-300 ppi. Jpg files are designed for the internet, and therefore saved at lower resolutions, usually 72 ppi.
If youre going to do heavy editing, its better to shoot in RAW. But if youre going to be sharing the file, then its a good idea to convert it to a TIFF. Does TIFF lose quality? The short answer is no, TIFF doesnt compress your images and you dont lose quality every time you open and re-save the file.
Disadvantages of TIFF files. They can take up valuable space on your drive. Their size makes them difficult to share or send to contacts or clients. Their high quality makes them a poor choice for website design, since detailed images can slow a websites loading speed.
Sharpen tiff filter Right click on one or more Tiff file(s) on your desktop and select Convert with Filestar. Type sharpen filter in the search box. Press Run.
