In docHub Photoshop, you will have the option to edit your newly created smart object within the Adjustments section (see image above). This will allow you to edit your Raw images. Once youre in here, you will see a list of of icons.
RAW files record a wider range of brightness, which allow for a number of adjustments in white balance, exposure and contrast. The second benefit is that you can edit RAW images without permanently changing the original file.
Exposure errors can be corrected with more accuracy than using a JPEG file. And along with making minor image corrections, RAW files can be adjusted to settings that arent adjustable in the camera.
Why would people want their RAW files? Usually when people ask me if I will give them the RAW files it is for one of three reasons; They are experienced (to some degree) or passionate about image editing and they want to be able to edit their own wedding images their way.
Lightroom is better suited for photographers who want a more organized and streamlined workflow, while Camera RAW is better suited for those who want more flexibility in their editing.
Well, the answer to that question is yes. Even if your camera only shoots in JPEG or TIFF, you can still open and edit these files in docHub Camera Raw and take advantage of most of the associated benefits.
One of the largest benefits of RAW is the ability to recover shadows and highlights in post-processing without bringing in the grainy noise usually associated with high ISO settings. RAWs are very forgiving if you have severely underexposed or overexposed areas.
Open the photo you want to edit and select Masking Select Subject. Camera Raw runs an analysis and automatically selects the subject for you. To refine the mask, click Add or Subtract. Use the editing sliders on the right to make the desired local adjustments.
