The displays bottom frame includes magnetic holders for the pens. Removing a pen from the holders activates it, and you can use the pen to draw or erase digital ink. When you return the pen to the magnetic holder, make sure its centered in its holder to keep it from falling and being damaged.
Press the eraser on the Floating Tools toolbar. Draw a large circle around the area you want to erase. Then with your finger, tap inside the circle. All digital ink disappears.

You can write on your interactive whiteboard with only standard or high-odor dry-erase markers. These markers usually display a warning to use them in well-ventilated areas. Do not use low-odor dry-erase markers, such as Expo markers with low-odor ink, because the ink is more difficult to remove.
You can erase digital ink using gestures or the eraser tool in the apps. Hold the pens at a right angle to the display as you write or draw. If you hold a pen more than 45 from perpendicular to the display, the display might interpret the pen as a finger. Pick up one of the displays pens.
The Smartboard pens are stored in a pen tray below the board, just like on a regular whiteboard. Pick one up and hold it up to the board. When a box appears on the screen, that means youre ready to write. You can write and draw just like you would with an ordinary pen.
Just pick up a pen, choose a color from the SMART Board tray and begin writing. After a slight delay, a white board called Ink Note will open. To enlarge the Ink Note: Touch the bottom corner of the screen with your finger and drag.
