Creating an RTF template file consists of two basic steps: Design your template layout. Use the formatting features of your word processing application and save the file as RTF. Mark up your template layout. Insert the BI Publisher simplified tags.
RTF preserves the formatting and structure of a document, including fonts, colors, tables, and images, regardless of the software used. This ensures that the intended appearance is maintained across different platforms.
RTF files are simple to use and easy to edit. On Windows, save a document as an RTF file by navigating to File Save as and then select RTF. Once youve opened your RTF file on Microsoft Word, select the text you would like to edit. Start typing in this space to replace the current text with the new text.
Open the downloaded RTF template file in Microsoft Word. Load the sample data that you generated. Select the clause that you want to center align. On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Center.
Use the TOCHAR function to translate a value of NUMBER datatype to VARCHAR2 datatype. TODATE converts char of CHAR, VARCHAR2, NCHAR, or NVARCHAR2 datatype to a value of DATE datatype. The fmt is a date format specifying the format of char. If you omit fmt, then char must be in the default date format.
xdoxslt:round ( number [, integer ] )? ROUND returns number rounded to integer places right of the decimal point. If integer is omitted, then number is rounded to 0 places. integer can be negative to round off digits left of the decimal point.
Code syntax. It is programmed using groups, a backslash, a control word and a delimiter. Groups are contained within curly braces ({}) and indicate which attributes should be applied to certain text. The backslash (\) introduces a control word, which is a specifically programmed command for RTF.
Function tonumber converts char, a value of CHAR, VARCHAR2, NCHAR, or NVARCHAR2 datatype containing a number in the format specified by the optional format model fmt, to a value of NUMBER datatype.
