Easily rub out contents in ODOC to work with documents in various formats

You can’t make document alterations more convenient than editing your ODOC files online. You cant send gifts anonymously to inmates; the collection address appears on the order invoice. Because inmates cant sign for packages, they can only receive packages from US Mail. While Amazon.com often sends packages through US Mail, we also use UPS and FedEx.
Please note that Amazon is now a departmentally approved vendor for books. If you are having a book sent in from a college or some other non-traditional book distributor, please check with the prison first. When you send in a box of books from a distributor, it comes into the mailroom.

1. Do Most Prisons Accept Book Deliveries from Amazon? Yes, most prisons will accept book deliveries that are meant for one of the inmates in the prison as long as its delivered by USPS.
Inmates in the New York Department of Corrections are allowed 3 packages per month with a combined weight limit of 40 pounds. These packages can contain any of the approved items that appear on this website.
The First Amendment of the Constitution entitles prisoners to send and receive mail, but the prison or jail may inspect and sometimes censor it to protect security, using appropriate procedures. Prison officials ability to inspect and censor mail depends on whether the mail is privileged or not.
