You can use \n for new line and \t for tabs. Also, extra spaces/tabs are just copied the way you write them in Strings. xml so just give a couple of spaces where ever you want them.
Write content in separate tags as this will result in a line break. Also try using \n or \r. Here is the answer from stackoverflow.com Scroll down to the part with cdata. That should be the answer you want.
Remove a Text Node xml is loaded into xmlDoc. Set the variable x to be the first title element node. Set the variable y to be the text node to remove. Remove the element node by using the removeChild() method from the parent node.
Click the line where you want to insert the breakpoint in the XML source document or the XSLT/XQuery document. Breakpoints are automatically created on the ending line of a start tag, even if you click a different line. Right-click the vertical stripe on the left side of the editor panel and select Add breakpoint.
typical string with escape sequence like \n cant be used, because this string has no special meaning in XML. Instead of you need to use hexadecimal escaped character: #10; for newline or #13; for carriage return.
Select the entire block of xml and hit CTRL+/ to comment the entire block.
The syntax for adding XML comments in your code is triple slashes /// followed by one of the supported XML tags. Theres IntelliSense support for writing documentation comments that also provides a template comment on entering the third slash in the triple slash.
