Go to a specific line (opens a dialog). Use Ctrl + L in the Source (Legacy) editor. Toggle commenting for selected lines. (Comment/uncomment selected text.)
You can comment out several lines at once by selecting them and pressing Ctrl + / (slash), On Mac - (command + / ).
Centering. We center text or images using \begin{center} and \end{center}. Just put \begin{center} when you want to start centering, and \end{center} when you want to stop centering.
LaTeX/TeX do not support mid-line comments. the % character will start a comment which will end at the start of the new line. Since LaTeX/TeX allows you to have almost as many linebreaks in your source code as you want, I tend to write very short lines (at least one per sentence).
In case of single-line comment, you need to use percent symbol. Output : In the case of multiline, you can convert a multiline comment using a percent symbol before each line. Of course, if you use Texmaker software then pressing ctrl + T will leave the multiline comment out at the same time.
Comenting on latex is just putting % sign before line (or before portion from where you want to comment). If you are using Texstudio then you can select the lines and press ctrl+t to make the lines as comment together. The easiest way is to use a source editor which provides a shortcut for commenting out selected text.
It is often necessary to comment out temporarily a region of TeX or LaTeX code. This can be done with the commands C-c ; and C-c % . C-c ; will comment out all lines in the current region, while C-c % will comment out the current paragraph.
