Use the Select text tool to select the text you want to mark up. From the markup toolbar that appears, take one of the following actions as desired: To highlight text, select Highlight selected text. To strikethrough the text, select Strikethrough text.
Upload the PDF document that you want to edit by clicking on the Upload button. Once the document is uploaded, click on the Edit button next to the document name. In the editing toolbar, click on the Rub Out Text button. Now, click on the text that you want to remove.
Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list.
Use a PDF editor to erase individual words. Open the PDF file you want to edit in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard.
Open the PDF in Acrobat, and then do one of the following: Choose Tools Redact. On the Edit menu, choose Redact Text Images. Select the text or image in a PDF, right-click, and select Redact. Select the text or image in a PDF, and choose Redact in the floating context-menu.
