Select the shape or shapes that you want to make transparent. On the Shape tab, select Shape Fill Transparency, then select the percentage you want. Tip: If you need more precise control of the degree of transparency, right-click the shape, then select Format Options.

To easily circle a word in Microsoft Word using the Shapes tool, follow these steps: Open Microsoft Word and create a new document. Select the Insert tab. Click on the Shapes option and choose the circle shape. Click and drag on the document to draw the circle around the word.
