Filter data in your chart In Excel, select the category title and then in the Home tab, click Sort Filter Filter. Next, click the drop-down arrow to select the data you want to show, and deselect the data you dont want to show.
Create a chart Select the data for which you want to create a chart. Click INSERT Recommended Charts. On the Recommended Charts tab, scroll through the list of charts that Excel recommends for your data, and click any chart to see how your data will look. When you find the chart you like, click it OK.
TRIM Function Using the TRIM function can eliminate these excessive blank spaces. Select the data cells with excessive blank spaces and tab spaces. Now, select a new cell adjacent to the first cell. Apply the TRIM() function and drag the cell as shown below.
Select the cells or range of data you want to extract. Copy the selected data (Ctrl + C on Windows, Command + C on Mac). Paste the data into your desired application (e.g., another Excel file, Word document, or text editor) using Ctrl + V (Windows) or Command + V (Mac).
Excel In your spreadsheet, select the data to use for your pie chart. Click Insert Insert Pie or Doughnut Chart, and then pick the chart you want. Click the chart and then click the icons next to the chart to add finishing touches:
Select the chart from which you want to extract the underlying data values. The chart can either be embedded on a worksheet or on a separate chart sheet. Run the GetChartValues macro. The data from the chart is placed in the ChartData worksheet.
Click anywhere in the table and then click the Table tab. Click Convert to Range. Click Yes to confirm the action. Note: Table features are no longer available after you convert the table back to a range.
