The purpose of Mail Merge is for you to be able to create personalized letters to many people without actually writing letters to many people. So, you have a standard template and you just want to change parts of that and customize it to each person. So, you can use Mail Merge to do that. But of course, you can also use this for other purposes as well, not just letters. Use it to dynamically link your Excel data to Microsoft Word. Lets take a look.
