hello everyone and welcome to another video so I wanted to have a real quick discussion today to show how to fix a very common problem with zippers so Iamp;#39;ve got this REI fleece here and it is zipped all the way up and one thing thatamp;#39;s a problem with it the way this zipper has failed is if you put any sort of pressure down at the base or the bottom of the zipper look at that the bottom just splits apart and the whole thing just unzips itself so this is a big failure so letamp;#39;s take a look at why this occurs so the reason this occurs is that down here at the bottom at the base of the zipper I donamp;#39;t know if you can see this but this little part has fallen off so this is sometimes referred to as the bottom pin which goes and locks into the bottom box of the zipper and basically stabilizes the bottom of the zipper so it canamp;#39;t pull apart so to see what itamp;#39;s supposed to look like let me pull over this other jacket okay with a zipper and you can see
