all right I thought this was a neat idea so thatamp;#39;s what Iamp;#39;m doing a video this fix and zip thing itamp;#39;s a result replacement zipper slider or zipper body it is interesting because itamp;#39;s ambidextrous so you can put the little lanyard it comes with this little lanyard on either side of the zipper but more likely youamp;#39;re gonna have the button facing outwards and then this partamp;#39;s going to be on the inside and they did curve it so it doesnamp;#39;t catch on stuff itamp;#39;s a neat idea But ultimately I think uh itamp;#39;s fixing a problem where the Garment or tool bag or whatever sleeping bag is essentially worn out among other issues itamp;#39;s die-cast zinc itamp;#39;s all diet what I think is interesting is this the little thumb wheel is aluminum and then they press fit in a steel threaded Rod they do try to make it a little bit and you know itamp;#39;s an interesting idea they have a seal spring in there so that when you put i

Here are the steps: Measure from the bottom of the zipper and mark your desired finished length. Cut the zipper tape at least a half inch above your mark. Seal the end of the zipper tape. Use wire cutters and pliers to cut off and remove the zipper teeth above your mark. Make new top stoppers (see below)
If the zippers teeth are no longer aligned, follow these steps: First close the zipper; you may have to tug a bit. Remove the metal stops at the top of the zipper using pliers, and take off the slide. Now you can realign the teeth manually. Put the slide back on, and reattach the top stops.
If one or both sides of the slider come off the track, the zipper doesnt necessarily need replacing, the slider just needs reattaching. To do this, find the bottom of the zip.
