You can use Find to highlight all the occurrences of a specific word or phrase as follows: Choose Find from the Edit menu or press [Ctrl]+F. On the Find tab, enter the word or phrase into the Find What control. Check the Highlight All Items Found In option (shown below). Click Find All and click Close.
In the Modify Style dialog box, change the style any way that you want, and then click OK. For example, under Formatting, you can click the arrow next to the Color box, and then click a new font color. All instances of the style are updated automatically throughout the document.

Expert-Verified Answer To change every instance of remodel to renovation, use the Replace All function found in word processors. Access it through the Edit menu or by shortcut, then enter remodel in the Find field and renovation in Replace, and click Replace All.
