viewport units and css are some of my favorite units and hereamp;#39;s a quick example of all the different types first we have just your standard percentage unit then we have vw this stands for viewport width so itamp;#39;s going to be a percentage of your screen size on the width vh is a percentage of your screen height the min is going to be essentially the smaller of vh or vw and vmax is going to be the larger of vh or vw so down below you can see 60 is going to be this first bar 6d vw is the next 60 vh is the next one after that then v min and then v max and importantly youamp;#39;re going to notice that vw and percentage are actually different and the reason for that is that vw is always your full screen size well percentage is just the size of the container so this is 60 of the container itamp;#39;s within as you can see thereamp;#39;s margins on the left and right so thatamp;#39;s why our 60 is smaller while the 6d vw doesnamp;#39;t care about margins padding or anything
