hi buddy my name is jacqueline on and today iamp;#39;m going to talk a little bit about the in situ repair or self-healing of composite structures so the aim of my project is try and bring self-healing materials from concept to market to try and collate existing technologies and trying to develop them through TRL levels towards industrial rooms of implementation so iamp;#39;m gonna start off with a quick introduction for those who arenamp;#39;t familiar with self-healing technologies and then go through the three main areas of this project namely damage manipulation how we can use the unique failure mechanisms of fiber reinforced materials to our advantage talk about vascular optimization how we can optimize vascular networks within a structure and also finally talk about repair and recovery how once we have damage inside a component do we go about affecting some sort of repair and then I wrap up at the very end with a few conclusions okay so there are three main strategies for the
