so over to the left hand side you may see a little icon for outline where you can open this up or you can go to view and you can check show document outline youamp;#39;ll also see this option for summaries so this is brand new if you click this plus sign you can add a summary to your document and this will give anyone that you share the document with a preview of what the document is about so you can write your own summary but hereamp;#39;s also whatamp;#39;s new and sort of working is the ability to use a i to actually create a summary for you and so you can see it says hit tab to accept and that way you can use that summary right there inside your document

Edit with Suggesting Mode Click the Editing mode icon in the upper right. From this menu, you can select one of three modes. Editing mode: Lets you edit the document directly. This is the mode youre in by default. Select Suggesting. Suggest edits by making changes in the document.
Select the text you want to rewrite. On the right, click Help me write (Labs) . Choose an option from the menu: Tone: Select Formal or Casual.
In Google Docs, pressing Ctrl + Shift + J will justify the highlighted text.
To redo an edit that youve undone, click Redo (right arrow to the left of the Save drop-down) or use either Ctrl-Y / Ctrl-Shift-Z on PC or ⌘Y / ⌘Shift-Z on Mac.
Highlight any text and press Ctrl+K or Cmd+K to add a link to the text. The same shortcut works for editing links. Hover over a link with the cursor to find the delete link option.
Ctrl + Y. The last action you undid is redone. Click the Redo button multiple times to redo multiple actions.
To redo an action that youve undone or wish to reapply, click on the forward arrow icon. Alternatively, use the shortcut Ctrl + Y (Command + Y on Mac).
By default, anything you type in a Google Doc is styled as Normal text. To switch styles, place the insertion point in the paragraph that you want to change. Click the Styles menu and choose the style that you want. Repeat this step as you move through your document.
