so since i did my original custom symbols video there have been a few changes to the app i did that video about over a year now and i just want to go over the things that have changed since then the app looks a little bit different now although its more or less the same instead of the settings being on the top theyre now on the little sidebar here let me just go ahead and drag this svg file in so as you can see the settings are on the left here and also you have the handy little paths section here where you can turn off and turn on individual paths as needed which can come in handy also i introduced a few more settings the most important setting is the um the reference scale so what the reference skill setting does is it lets you make the default line thickness of your custom symbol thicker or thinner than the original svg file by tweaking this number here so one would be the the original thickness of your svg a number greater than one would be thicker a number less than one would b
