when did you realize the subjects you were going for was right for you yeah so Iamp;#39;ve always been a linguist um that kind of became apparent when I went into secondary school so I did French and Spanish all the way through from year seven to year 13. I think it perhaps sort of clicked towards the middle end of year 12 when I was really enjoying my religious studies a level and the more I researched outside of that the more I read and listened to podcasts I became more intrigued in what Theology and philosophy was all about when I got to the sort of application process I did have a look at other languages adjacent subjects a lot of other Humanities or degrees that had language components but I ended up coming back to Modern and medieval languages and I decided to take a new language or Urban issue a language so from scratch so I did French and Iamp;#39;ve initiative Russian when I got here looking at the Cambridge website and visiting Cambridge at open days in the summer of year

Excellent (A+, A, A-); Good (B+, B, B-); Fair (C+, C, C-); Poor (D+, D, D-) (lowest passing grade); Failure (F) (not acceptable for degree credit), including courses dropped for academic integrity violations (see 1‑402); Absent from the final examination without an acceptable excuse ABS (counts as a failure, not
Regardless of the grade, a notation of Unapproved Repeat will show on your transcript if you repeat the same class more than once and you will not receive units or grade points.
Even if your school considers a D to be a passing grade, you may still want to consider retaking the course if you plan on taking higher-level courses in the same subject area. Learn more: What is a Good College GPA and How Can You Raise Yours?
Consider repeating the course. Over 90% of colleges allow undergraduates to take a failed class again to improve their grade. Depending on the school, the new grade may replace the F on your transcript or both grades may appear, with the new grade replacing the F in your GPA calculation.
A repeated course will result in a grade averaged and calculated in the GPA. If a student earns a grade of D, F, WU, or NC on the second attempt, the grades in all attempts will be averaged into their GPA.
Students repeating courses taken at the University of Calgary will not have the original grade, failure or otherwise, removed from the transcript of record. The transcript of record will indicate both the original grade and the repeated course with its final grade in the term in which it was taken.
Repeating and passing a failed course will remove or replace your previous failed grade. The F will be replaced on your transcript by an R (for repeat) and the new passing grade, and your GPA will reflect the new grade.
The first thing you need to be clear about is that retaking classes (in most cases) has a minimal effect on your GPA, because retaken classes dont replace your low grades they average in with them. Thats right: your low grade wont be dropped the retaken class grade will be added to it and averaged.
