Hi guys, welcome back to PassFab. Todays video will show you how to recover a damaged or corrupted Word document. First, you can try built-in feature - Open and repair. Run Microsoft Word. Click Open. Select your corrupted document. Click the arrow on the Open button. Select Open and Repair. If this method doesnt work, try Word Text recovery Converter. Open Word. Click Options at the bottom. Click Advanced option. Scroll down to General tab. Check Confirm file format conversion on open. Click OK. Go to File. Click Open. Find your corrupted word document. Click Files of Type box, select Recover text from Any File. Click Open. You will get your repaired document. Or you can recover your document from unsaved documents. This may lose some content. Go to File. Click Open. Here is a Recover Unsaved Documents button. Press it. You can see a few folders here. Choose the file that have the same name with your corrupted document. Open the word document. Here you get a recovered one.
